Permanent Structural
Monitoring.

A synchronized record. An evolving view of structural response.

Kinetic works with Digitex Systems to build installed monitoring around bridges, buildings, energy facilities and industrial structures. Follow response through ordinary operation and defined events, with the sensing, analysis and review plan matched to the asset.

Start with the monitoring brief

Define the question.
Design the right record.

The structure and the engineering question guide the layout. Sensor locations, orientations, reference points and analysis methods must be justified for the response being evaluated and reviewed with the responsible project professionals.

  1. 01Which behavior, event or change needs to be observed?
  2. 02Which locations and directions make that response measurable?
  3. 03What baseline and environmental context are needed?
  4. 04Which findings require notification and engineering review?

What the system brings together

Measurements connected
to their purpose.

Use the available product range to build the measurement chain the application needs. Model, configuration and performance are confirmed in the proposal.

Synchronized response

Align channels to compare motion across the structure. Digitex offers satellite timing and network-based synchronization, with indoor and outdoor arrangements selected for the site.

More than acceleration

Add compatible tilt, strain, load, displacement or environmental measurements when the question calls for them. Each measurement needs appropriate sensors, mounting, interfaces and interpretation.

Events with supporting data

Define triggers and the record needed around them. A planned event window helps the project team examine the response before, during and after a selected occurrence.

A system that can develop

Distributed networks and centralized acquisition provide different installation options. We choose the arrangement around access, cabling, distances, channel needs and the future monitoring plan.

Digitex structural monitoring architecture

From observation to a practical next step

A useful record for
the asset’s next decision.

Monitoring can support inspection planning, evaluation after selected events and comparison after an intervention. The project scope defines the evidence needed and who has authority to interpret and act on it.

Baseline & event review

Keep the reference condition and relevant event records connected to the measurement arrangement and observed activity.

Operating & environmental context

Review loading, traffic, temperature, humidity and weather where relevant to the measured behavior.

A documented interpretation

Define reporting intervals, significant-change review and follow-up inspection or investigation with the project team.

Commissioning & continued operation

A clear handover.
Defined responsibility.

Kinetic supplies and configures the agreed customer-owned equipment, connects the measurement setup to its documentation and establishes the operating arrangement with your team.

Our delivery and support approach
Verify the installation
Instrument identity and calibration records, mounting and direction, probe placement, timing, data flow and configured notifications.
Agree the data and review plan
Access, collection and analysis intervals, retained records, alert criteria and recipients, and any Kinetic reporting or review services.
Maintain the measurement chain
Define inspection, calibration, updates and support. Digitex manufacturer maintenance arrangements are confirmed for the selected system.
